1. How do Crystal Energy and Intentions Work?
Crystals - Science tells us that various types of stones or crystals can serve as rectifiers when energy is applied, They can amplify or alter energy frequencies, and have been used in electrical devices, such as radios, to “fine tune” frequencies.
Many believe that when a crystal or stone is placed within a person’s energy field, it will subtly affect the energy field by amplifying, impeding or grounding certain frequencies.
The qualities of stones described by Fern Shadow Studio are based on referenced publications, general beliefs and folklore. Each stone is unique, just as each person’s energy field is unique.
Intention – If you purchase a piece of jewelry with a particular intention in mind, it is important that you establish that intention and allow the stones frequencies to harmonize with yours. When your piece arrives, hold it in both hands, quiet your mind and heart, and state what your intention is for it. For example, if you purchased a “peace” necklace, you could state “This necklace will serve as a reminder that I am becoming more peaceful, calm and centered everyday day.”
Each piece is infused with energy by Reiki Master with the intention that it be for the wearer’s highest good and highest healing. No warranty is implied, as the ultimate intention lies with the wearer.
2. How do I take off and clean my piece of jewelry?
Care – You will probably want to wear your intention jewelry all the time. However, we discourage you from wearing it during heavy exercise or while showering, bathing or swimming. The jewelry can be cleaned and shined with a soft polishing cloth or with baking soda on a soft toothbrush, followed by a water rinsing and drying with a cloth.
Cleansing and Recharging—Many people believe that crystals can become overloaded and less effective over time. There are many methods of recharging your stones, but we believe the easiest and most effective method is to first clean the piece as described above, and then place it in a sunny place for a short time. Basking in the sun warms it, allows all the molecules to realign, discharges lower frequencies, etc. Do not leave it in the hot sun longer than 15 minutes.
3. How is the jewelry sized?
Most Fern Shadow Studio jewelry have extenders to allow pieces to be adjusted to various sizes. For necklaces, the most common lengths are 16" extending to 19”. For bracelets, the most common size for women is the 6.5" to 8".
4. Will my piece look exactly like picture on the website?
Your piece will have the same pendant and types of stones as shown in the photograph. However, there may be a slight differences in the beads due to the natural variations in genuine stones. These small variations will in no way comprise the energy and quality of your piece.

6. Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we currently ship internationally, within current governmental limitations. Feel free to email or call us and ask about your specific country and the availability of shipping.
7. What is your shipping policy?
Continental US orders are shipped via USPS.
Fern Shadow Studio does not ship on the weekends or on holidays. Orders ship within 1-6 business days. If an item is out of stock, an order will take longer depending on gemstone availability. We will notify you if this is the case with your order. If one item of a multi-item order is out-of-stock, we will delay shipping until we can complete the out-of-stock item and ship the complete order. This will help keep your shipping low. Out-of-stocks usually cause only a minimum delay. We will notify you if your order is delayed and give you the option to ship separately.
Credit Card approval must be obtained before the order is shipped. You will receive a follow-up email confirming the total of your order, including shipping and handling charges and sales tax.
You may request expedited delivery for an additional fee. The availability and fulfillment of expedited shipping and delivery depends on the destination and the time the order is placed.
8. How much is shipping?
The cost of shipping will vary depending on where you are shipping to, what is being shipped and how quickly you wish to receive your package. As you checkout, you will have several shipping options.
9. When does an order get shipped?
To ensure the highest possible quality, every Fern Shadow Studio piece is handcrafted. As a result, delivery of your Fern Shadow Studio piece may take 1-6 business days from the time of your order. We will contact you if we anticipate a delay in the order.
10. How can I find out the status of my order?

11. What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Check and U.S. Money Orders. You may also use PayPal to checkout. We recommend that international customers use PayPal.
12. Is my credit card safe?
Yes, we make every effort to protect your online information by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. SSL encrypts your order information to ensure it remains private and secure.
13. Will I be charged sales tax?
Only Minnesota residents will be charges sales tax.
14. Is my purchase guaranteed?
Fern Shadow Studio guarantees the quality of the materials and construction of our jewelry. We strive to accurately represent the stones, materials, size and construction of our pieces. We use coated stainless-steel beading cable, soldered-link chain, precious metal crimp tubes and split rings. These choices mean durability.
Fern Shadow Studio guarantees its products from flaws or construction defects for 60 days from purchase.
If your piece is flawed or breaks within 60 days from purchase, Fern Shadow Studio will either repair or replace the item at no charge. Contact us at info@FernShadowStudio.com to notify us of the flaw or defect (please include a photograph if possible), and your plan for returning the piece. We will either repair or replace the piece and return it to you as quickly as possible.
It is recommended that you send the merchandise back in a padded envelope and that you insure the package. If the merchandise is lost or stolen in the mail, it is not the responsibility of Fern Shadow Studio to replace it.

15. Can I cancel my order?
Because we try to ship your order as quickly as possible, we are usually unable to cancel or make changes to your order after you have placed it with us. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your order, please email us as quickly as possible at info@FernShadowStudio.com.
16. Do you have a showroom?
Our products are designed and constructed at our Studio in Little Falls, Minnesota. We do not have a showroom, but we sell online, at select retail stores and we occasionally have booths at festivals. Contact us to find out where we will be next or learn more about the Studio.
